2841 Added an additional prompt if "Cancel" is clicked when attempting to Print & Post or just Post payouts using Pay Client within a Client's account.
2929 Removed "commas" from account-item #s greater than 4 digits on the End Of Day -
Sales Detail report. Account #s such as 20002 were showing as 20,002.
3097 Pop-up for Wishlist finds is now working 100%. The option to "show pop-up for Wishlist finds" must be enabled under Tools > Options > Accounts for this to work though.
3576 Retail items with a quantity of 0 (zero) can no longer be sold via POS. This will generate a "This item is Unavailable" error.
3785 Extra "spaces" in Category Value field in Web Items have been removed. This was a cosmetic issue and did not impair data entry into this field.
3890 You can now set the initial Shipping & Handling amount for Flat Rate profiles!!! On your Flat Rate Shipping Profile, you can now enter an amount in the "Default Package Handling Cost." This field was previously only used to add a handling amount to Calculated shipping services. This saves time for your Flat Rate profiles though, so you don't have to enter the amount each time you add an item. This still works the same as it did before as far as Cost Factors go with Flat Rates. If your "Default Package Handling Cost" is set to $10 and you have 3 Shipping Services each with a Cost Factor of 1.00, 1.50 & 2.00, respectively, the Shipping Costs would show as $10, $15 & $20, respectively, on eBay.
4331 We have added the ability to re-arrange images once they've been added to an
item!!! To do so, click on the image you want to move. You will see the image
will now have a yellow border. At the bottom of the images grid, you will see
two little arrows (up and down). You can now move images into the order you
would like them to appear in rather than having to remove images and then re-add images to an item.
4388 Resolved an issue with the Database Restore Utility not showing the "Ok" button as the most active window once the database was finished restoring.
4397 An item that is part of an Unpaid Order will now show under the "Closed" tab in Web Items. Previously, Unpaid Orders didn't show anywhere in Web Items except for under their "All Web Items" tab.
4432 There is no longer a "Paid" tab in Web Items. Items that have downloaded to Order Manager and are "Unpaid" or "Paid" will now show on the "Closed" tab in Web Items with a Status of "Closed." The items will stay on the "Closed" tab with a Status of "Closed" until the items/orders are "Completed" in Order Manager. At this point, they will move to the "Completed" tab in Web Items with a Status of "Completed." Once the item has been paid out to the consignor, the Status will show as "Paid."
4511 Synch. log will now show if the Token for the Auction Account Liberty is using to list items to eBay under is about to "expire." If they Token has expired or is about to, it can be renewed using the eBayAuthUtil.exe which is located in the C:\RWD folder.
4588 The "Starting Bid" merge field for email templates in Event Manager has been fixed and now is inserted as [[StartingBid]] instead of [[Starting Bid]]. The spaces in between "Starting" and "Bid" were causing the field to merge as just [[Starting]] and thus, the field would not merge the actual Starting Bid.
4601 If "Original Price" is not selected under Tools > Options > Printing, this will now actually not show up on the Item List - Sales Recap.
4606 Items with a Title greater than 55 characters can no longer be "Finished." This
prevents errors from occurring when trying to synch items that have a Title
greater than 55 characters.
4650 Added functionality to assess a "per day fee" for items. This can be setup under Tools > Price Codes > Sale Deduction. Once you have entered an amount for "Deduct $x.xx per day" you will also want to select the Transaction Type (i.e., Deduct Money). You can also provide a Description for this transaction such as "Daily Storage Fee." The fee will not be applied to the Client's account/Transactions tab until the item has been sold.
4658 Resolved issue with "Cash Payouts" showing as "Web Orders" on the Sales > End of Day - Sales Detail report. This was a cosmetic issue.
4680 Resolved issue with entering Serial # and Tag Name in Setup Wizard and it not "taking." Once you finished the Setup Wizard, you would be prompted again to enter the License Information.
4683 Resolved issue with prompt when running "Pay Client" and using Cash Statement. If there was a Check Fee added to the payout, the prompt was not showing the correct amount. The correct amount did in fact get deducted from the cash drawer, but the prompt did not account for the Check Fee. An example would be => Total Payable amount = $50, Check Fee = $2, the prompt should read "Would you like to deduct $48 from the cash drawer?" but it was actually displaying "Would you like to deduct $50 from the cash drawer?"
4694 Resolved issue with "Access Violations" when applying Group Deductions under Activities > Accounting > Apply Group Deductions.
4695 Item Lists within the Inventory tab of a Client account no longer truncate/cut-off long Store Names.
4747 The Title will now update during Item Entry if you select a Category, select Attributes (which have populated the Title) and then select a different Category. This saves from making mistakes such as "Tommy Hilfiger Vacuum Cleaner."
4754 We changed the link for "Help on Package Weight and Size" within Shipping Profiles. This provides a more detailed matrix for determining which package types are "compatible" with which shipping services.
4760 Added "fly overs" when in the "Edit Account Field Layout" window. In an Account Detail, if you customized any of the "User Fields" (1-15), there was no way to know which User Field they originally were. If you hover your cursor over any one of the User Fields that has been customized, it will display the original User Field #. To access the "Edit Account Field Layout" window, right-click in a grey area within a Client account and choose "Account Field Layout..." or click Task > Maintenance > Account Field Layout....
4762 When printing tags from within an account, it was not updating the "Tag Printed Time Stamp" in the database. Thus, if you tried to use the Bulk Tag Printing routine to print "Unprinted = Yes," items that had already had tags printed for them would be picked up in the Bulk Tag routine.
4766 Resolved issue with payout date not printing on checks if the date was changed during the Account Payments routine.
4770 All of the Item Lists now display "Disposition."
4775 When utilizing the "Item Quick Add" in Point of Sale, the keyboard shortcuts for alt + D (Date), alt + P (Price Code) and alt + T (Tax Type) are now functioning.
4779 Resolved issue with Categories not truly deleting from Tools > Category Editor.
4782 Resolved 513 errors when printing Item Lists on the Inventory tab within a Client
account. This was actually resolved with the 2.5d "patch" but this is now a part
of the official 2.6a release.
4785 Resolved issue for "New With Tags" and "New In Box" Item Specifics errors as well as all other Item Specifics errors.
4791 Resolved issue with first receipt of the day in POS showing the time that POS was
opened, instead of the actual time the receipt was printed.
4795 In Item Entry, when you select an "Attribute" for an item that populates the "Title," if you delete the Attribute, it will now remove it from the Title.
4796 Fixed issue in Account Detail so the "focus" is on tab #1 Account. This resolves the issue when using the keyboard shortcut "alt + #" to navigate through tabs in the account. If the "focus" was on tab #1 and you used "alt + 7" to hop to the Add'l Info. tab, once you hit "alt + 7" and tried to use the "Tab" key, the focus was still on tab #1 (First Name, Last Name, etc.)
4799 We have added an Application Security Level for the "Void Sale" feature in POS.
We had recently added the ability to void a sale and received feedback that since it can be such a big impact on accounting, it should really be restricted to only store managers. You can set this level via Tools > Security > Application
Security Levels. If you set this to a "10," any Liberty user that has a level less than a "10" would not be able to use the Void Sale feature in POS.
4800 Many new computers are being shipped with Microsoft Office already installed. These systems also have Microsoft SQL Server MSDE pre-installed. This is not a default of the MS Office installation and can only be manually installed. Even further, MSDE cannot be installed UNLESS it is properly configured. It would appear that many of these systems are being shipped with a pre-built "image" that already contained an older version of MSDE.

Because of this, if you try to install SQL and it is already installed, SQL will want to use the install that's already there. Since SQL was not configured properly, Liberty would not be able to connect to the database and users were seeing "ADO Login" dialogs asking them to log in to the existing install of SQL.

We have added a line to our installers that will check for this existing install,
configure it properly for you and then reboot your system. Once the system has
been rebooted, you will be prompted to connect to the database.
4801 Resolved issue when using the option for "Use Pay Delay for Total Owed" in POS.
This option was only filtering amounts owed based on "date" and not "date and
time." This was causing discrepancies in POS for the total amount of money
available to use for Store Credit.
4804 Resolved issue with not being able to "Unpost" (under Tools > Inventory > Post
Items) more then one item at the same time.  This was generating "Item Cannot Be Refunded" errors.
4808 Resolved "Floating point division by zero" issue when reducing inventory to 0 (zero) for a Retail Vendor.
4809 Added a new "Item List w/o Totals" to the Item List drop-down on the Inventory
tab.
4814 The Liberty4 Consignment Help File has been updated to include a "Contents" tab. This allows you to locate topics much easier, especially if you don't know which keywords to search for.
4815 Resolved issue with the Cash Drawer Total in POS not printing to the receipt printer.
4821 Functionality to select 10 day Durations for eBay Motors items has been added.
4825 Added functionality to "End Listing Now" in Web Items. To use this feature, right-click any "Active" Web Item (or use ctrl + click to select particular items OR use Shift + the up/down arrow keys on your keyboard to select a range of items) and then choose "End Listing Now." You will see a dialog appear that details and "End Listing Synch." The dialog will also show you which items this task is being performed on and that they will be moved to the "Not Ready" tab.

This helps in so many ways:

A) instead of having to go to eBay to end your listing(s) and then synchronize with
Liberty, you can simply "End Listing Now" directly from Liberty.

B) if eBay has ended/removed any of your auctions and they were "stuck" on the Active tab in Liberty, you can use the "End Listing Now" feature. If Liberty doesn't find the item on eBay, it will move these items from "Active" to "Not Ready."
4826 Resolved issue with "2844 - Dual Combined" Tag Style. This was printing based on the LP2824 dimensions and tags were not lining up. A patch for this had been released but it is now part of the full install in 2.6a.
4827 The "Item List Email" that can be sent from within a Client account is now displaying "Totals" in the actual email. The "Totals" would display on the preview, but when the actual email was received, the "Totals" were not displayed.
4832 Increased the "F2 Canned Description" field in Web Items/HTML Editor from 255
characters to 6,000. This will allow for even lengthier pre-typed descriptions to be stored via F2. This way, you can prepare a description, add formatting such as Bold, Italics, Font Color, etc., copy the "raw" HTML from the HTML Tab and then save this HTML as one of your "Canned Descriptions." This can save a lot of time if you find you are typing the same information for certain types of items over and over again. Rather than typing the whole description again, you can just modify keywords.
4834 Resolved "Range check error" message when using navigational arrows on keyboard within HTML Editor.
4837 Changed "Name" column in Web Items to read "Title."
4842 The Item List Sales Recap now shows "Account Number," just as the Item Lists w/ Totals shows. We had many requests to add this in from customers that find this useful in their day-to-day.
4844 Resolved "Error 534" when attempting to print finger-tip reports for Filter List > Paid or Filter List > Not Paid within the Inventory tab of a Client account.
4851 Made the grid for images in Web Items much larger. This allows you to see more images when looking for images to add to a listing after clicking "Load Photos" or "Load Photos From."
4854 Resolved issues with the RWX Helper Service and attempting to make changes to the
database. When attempting to restore to another database or run scripts that were sent from our Support Department, users were seeing "Exclusive access could not be obtained because the database appears to be in use."
4861 When using Print Tags from within a Client account, the Item Number "From" and "Through" fields can now have more than 5 characters/digits entered into them. This field will accept an unlimited amount of characters/digits now. So now if/when a Client's inventory reaches 99,999, you will be able to type 100,000 (and higher) in the from/through fields, respectively.
4867 Liberty now supports eBay Motors!!! You will see the eBay Motors Categories for
Cars & Trucks, Motorcycles and Other Vehicles & Trailers, etc. instead of only
Power Sports and Parts & Accessories. The required Item Specifics can be
selected by clicking the "Item Specifics" button in Web Items, on the Auction
Info. tab. You will only be able to select eBay Motors Categories for items that
have their "Marketplace" set to eBay Motors.

Before attempting to list items to eBay Motors though, please synchronize the Liberty application so that the latest Categories can be downloaded. If you have already performed your "Daily Synch," you will want to run the eBayCatParser.exe utility located on your Liberty server in the C:\RWD folder. Simply click "Refresh Categories" and wait for all of the new Categories to download and unpack.
4869 We have added a new 10-line markdown Tag Style!!! This Tag Style will take up two regular tags and will print up to 10-lines of your markdown schedule!!!
4870 Added the Liberty4 Consignment Help File for L4C users. This update resolves the issue with not seeing the "Contents" tab.
4871 Added functionality to "Clear Auction Id" for Web Items on the Not Ready tab that are set to "Relist?" This is used for items that Liberty wants to attempt to relist, but they are past their relist "window." If you right-click on any Web Item that has a Status of "Relist?," you can now "Clear Auction Id." This "resets" the item so you can list it again, without it being considered as a "Relist" on eBay.
4876 We moved the "Image Host" drop-down in Web Items > Photos to be above "Preview
Image Size." The reason for this was, if you had 3 Image Hosts in there, the drop-down would drop-down behind the Status Bar. Thus, you could not see the 3rd Image Host to select it. You could select it using the navigational arrows on the keyboard, but it was still an annoyance.
4878 Resolved issue with "excess"/un-used Item Specifics (such as SIFFTAS pseudo) showing up in Web Items.
4879 Resolved issue with certain items not being included on Payouts when using a combination of "Item Received Date" as well as "Item Sold Date."
4880 The 2-across mailing label has been re-formatted so it fits on your standard tags that fit the Eltron LP2844 and LP2824 printers, respectively. This "report" was set to the size of "Plain Paper" by default and unless you used the "Printer Setup" icon in the report preview, the labels would end up skipping every 3rd account.
4882 Resolved issue with buyer accounts not being created. Accounts will only be
created if the "Track Customer Purchases" option is enabled in Order Manager
under Tools > Options.
4885 Resolved issues with Unpaid Orders not being updated to Paid Orders once the
direct PayPal payment was received.
4886 Resolved issue with not being able to select "UPS Worldwide Express" for an International Shipping Service. Once "UPS Worldwide Express" was selected, it would revert back to "UPS Worldwide Express Plus."
4910 Resolved issue in POS for not being able to Refund multiple items that were sold and posted as "Expired."
4937 We have brought back the original "2844 - Dual (Combined) w/Desc" tag!!! We listened to your feedback and while we decided to keep the "2844 - Dual (Combined) w/Desc" Tag Style in there for those customers that requested it, we brought the old one back and named it "2844 - Dual (Combined) w/Desc Legacy." This is the Tag Style that prints some of the Item Description along with the markdown schedule. The price on the "Legacy" Tag Style prints in the lower, right-hand corner.
4938 The Item Status Summary report now displays "New Consignors" as well as "Total Consignors." If you want to see how many new consignors there are based upon a
particular date, those accounts will of course have to have inventory entered in.
Then simply use the "Item Received Date" filter for "Equals," "Between," Greater
Than" or "Less Than" a particular date.
4939 In order to navigate through the different tabs while in the Account Detail screen, you will now need to use the "alt" button on your keyboard + the tab # rather than just the tab #. This works in conjunction with issue #4796 where the "focus" was not on the tab that was selected via keyboard shortcut.
4941 Resolved issue with a blank space showing on Item Lists if "Address Line 2" for a Client account is not populated.
4943 In Web Items > Photos, when you double-click an image you have added to an item,
the "Image Preview" window is now "sticky." Thus, it will stay at whatever size you had the window set to the last time it was launched. This helps if you tend to work with larger images and you like the window maximized at all times.
4944 We added "fly-overs" for images on the Photos tab in Web Items. Once you click "Load Photos" or "Load Photos From" you can hover your mouse over each thumbnail to see what the file name is. This helps when you are working with multiple images that are very similar.
4945 We have added 13 new HTML Templates to choose from when listing items to eBay!!! These new templates include the slide show feature we released in version 2.4a. Now you don't have to worry about editing your HTML Template yourself! All of these new HTML Templates will end with "SlideShow." For example, if you are already using "RSWWhitestandard.html" you will see another template named "RSWWhiteSlideShow.html" to use.
4946 We have made an enhancement to all of the "grids" within the program by coloring every other line a light-gray. You will see that on the Account List, Inventory list, Transaction list, Payouts, Purchases, Web Items & Order Manager all have a similar look to a check book register. This makes it so much easier to read when you are looking at a long list of information.
4947 We have a new online store!!! Because of this, we have changed the link to our store under Help > Order Supplies. The link now points to => http://www.resaleworld.com/store/home.php. Happy shopping!
4951 Resolved issue when selling items via "Easy" sale in POS, that had a markdown from a Price Code and the Posting Default in POS for "Calculate Net on Original Price on Change Post - Always Yes." The "Net To Consignor" was calculating on the on the Original Price, even though this wasn't a "Change Post" in was - it was an "Easy" sale. This only happened though if the previous was true + there were Item Fees on the item.
4955 The Cash Drawer Total and End of Day - Summary Only reports have changed slightly. These reports now show "# Finished Layaways" and "Layaway Payments" as opposed
to just "# Items on Layaway."
4957 We have added a "Most Recently Used" list in the Liberty Inventory module. Any accounts that have been access from within the Account List will show under the "File" menu. This will show you the most recent accounts (up to 5) that you have accessed. This is a handy feature if you know you were just adding items in an account or making changes to an account, but you had closed out and couldn't remember which one you were just working with!
4961 You will see a new pop-up the first time you open Item Entry after this new update. The new prompt will provide an overview of a feature that has been in Liberty since Liberty 2002 - the ability to edit the layout of the Item Entry screen. Many customers did not know about this feature and how helpful it can be, so we thought we'd provide a feature that would direct users to this. This pop-up can of course be disabled, once you are aware of what it explains.
4962 The Item Entry > Edit Layout screen has been updated. Now, not only does the screen explain what each setting is (Green = Visible and will not be skipped while entering information, Blue = Visible and will be skipped while entering information checked and Red = Will not be visible on screen). This Edit Layout utility also allows you to preview the way the Item Entry screen would look before you apply the changes! As always, this setting is unique to each of your computers. This allows the Item Entry screen to be customized per workstation, so each user can have a different layout.
4963 We have added a new "auto-update" feature. The first phase of this roll-out will
involve prompting the user when Liberty is first opened. If you click "Yes" to the "Would you like to download this update," you will be taken to the Resaleworld.com Updates page. If you click "No," you will be reminded each time
Liberty is re-opened. This is to ensure that even if you miss an email from us
or don't check the Updates site, you will now when/if a new Liberty update is
available.
4964 We have modified the Tools > Options > General tab a bit in this new release. You now choose your wallpaper from a drop-down menu - Custom, Default or None. The "Default" one is a new logo and bright background!
4968 Resolved "I/O Error 123" when attempting to synchronize and download orders from eBay. If your eBay Auction Account contained any "invalid" Windows characters (i.e., \ / : * ? " < > |), then when Liberty tried to create the files with this name in it (eBaySoap-0-GetSellerTransactionsRequest-1-YOUREBAYAUCTIONACCOUNT.xml)
, the Windows file system would return an "I/O Error 123." Liberty now takes these characters into account and replaces them with underscores (_) where applicable. This did not impact uploading items and this will in no way impact your user name on eBay.
4969 Resolved alignment issue with the Cash Drawer Report. It was cutting-off the
very first character of each line, when using certain fonts in POS.
4792 We added a VERY handy feature in Item Entry.  You will see an "F3" for your Price or Price/BIN field.  This will show you the history for the particular category you are adding items to.  Information such as the "Average Price" items in this category sold for, the # of items that sold over the last 30, 60, 90 days, etc.  This is a great way to "look back in time" and see the best way to price the item(s) you are adding.
4973 Resolved issue with tags printing multiple quantities, but "Tag Quantity" was set to "1."
4974 Resolved issue with Error 534 on Auction Sales report.
