Founded by Edmond DiRuzza as Liberty Systems, the company set out to develop, market, and support the finest inventory management and point-of-sale software for the consignment and resale industry.
Resaleworld.com is born
The company was renamed Resaleworld.com, reflecting a growing focus on serving consignment, resale, and thrift retailers across North America and around the world.
A new chapter with Emporia Holdings
Emporia Holdings acquired Resaleworld in 2023 and has continued to grow the company, adding new team members and investing in more resources to strengthen our ability to serve customers even better.

That commitment starts with our people. Russell Levy, who spent more than 15 years serving our customers as project manager, now leads the company as General Manager. He is supported by a sales team whose members have been with Resaleworld for 12 to 20 years or more, along with support, development, training, and marketing teams staffed largely by people who have served our customers for 15 to 20-plus years.
