Printer & Scanners

All printers purchased from Resaleworld come with 30 days of support (starting from the date of receipt). During that 30 day period, a support technician will install and configure your supported hardware. Please verify compatibility before purchasing - e.g. USB vs. Parallel, etc. Outside of the initial 30 day hardware support period, a per-incident fee would be assessed.

The following are covered during your initial (30 days) printer support period:

  • The installation of the printer
  • The configuration of the printer
  • Verification of a succesful installation via a Windows Test Page
  • The configuration of the Liberty application

If you did NOT purchase your printer from Resaleworld, don't worry! We have FREE and HELPFUL resources to help troubleshoot and resolve printer issues:

  • Printer Drivers Utility (PDU) - This is a free utility published and maintained by Resaleworld. It includes both drivers AND step-by-step instructions for installing printers that work with the Liberty software. We include a PDU CD with every printer purchased from Resaleworld. Keep this disc in a safe place, should you need to reinstall your printer again in the future. The latest version of the PDU can always be downloaded from My Resaleworld.
  • Message Board - Our Message Board is moderated by all Resaleworld support technicians, as well as other Liberty users, computer technicians, etc. Registration is free and if you're not a Resaleworld customer yet, just contact us and we'll add you to our database!

If you cannot get your printer working with Liberty, the majority of the time, the issue is to do with the way the printer was installed. Make sure to follow the step-by-step instructions in our PDU closely! Also, printers purchased from eBay or other vendors can have special programming (i.e. they have been "flashed") inside. Due to all of the unknowns, Resaleworld cannot possibily support printers not purchased here at Resaleworld. Printer issues are not related to the Liberty software, nor are they covered under a Support Plan. Once you have purchased a one-time Printer Support plan, a Resaleworld technician will be able to assist you.
